Have you heard of how these Green Bags help food banks and how you can be part of this project? It's easy, any group can sign up at the link and deliver directly to ShareNet on 2nd Saturdays every other month. Perfect for neighborhoods, clubs, any group you're part of.
Giving Garden
Kingston's Giving Garden has provided fresh, organically managed, sustainably grown produce to ShareNet since 2011 and is one of the food bank's most important sources of fresh vegetables. Whether you're a gardener or a novice there are plenty of volunteer opportunities at the Giving Garden. There are Saturday morning work parties during the season, but there is also the ability to customize your schedule. For more info contact kscurry962@gmail.com.
